Death Note

And here ends my ink

as with death I link

Like a shipwreck at the sea bottom

you will find as you fathom

many of my scattered words

some unsaid, some unheard

If they make you any sense

look there for the empty pen

Conjure your thoughts

and write with will

cause here ended my ink, but

of course, you can always refill

Inspired by John A. Reyes (Jar of Poetry) this week’s theme for NaPoWriMo- to write as if its the last poem of your life. Go and check it out, the contest ends this Saturday. It is so much fun and you might even end up with a bountyπŸ˜‰.

There is only one thing that came to my mind when I thought about what my last poem would say and it was- to urge people to write. Because that’s the best thing that ever happened to me. Something, anything, for yourselves or someone else, just fill your pages. So, through this I thank my loving sister for giving me the best gift of my life by pushing me in this world😘.

Keep writing. Keep reading. Keep sharing

Cheers!

  1. Um, wow!!! I love this. It’s kind of got that chilling vibe. That skeletal finger gently brushing the spine. I like the undersea element… very visual. Also it has a happy philosophical ending. πŸ’€πŸŒ€πŸ‘Œ

      1. I’m not sure what you mean by poetry brother, but I agree that our beautiful young blog-sister Arushi’s poem is wisdom-filled. πŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜„πŸ’•πŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸ’•

      3. Ahahaha!!! I actually was thinking that might be the case, on both counts!! Definitely, let’s all be poet bro’s… actually no. πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚πŸ•ΊπŸš«πŸ’ƒπŸΌβœ… Let’s leave the “bro’s” to the true bro’s. I’d like to be a sister-po’ myself, if you don’t mind. ;)) πŸ˜πŸ˜†πŸ˜˜πŸ’•

      4. p.s. and by “on both counts”… I meant that I thought either you’d mistaken Arushi’s name for a boy’s name, or that you called all poets your brothers, lol. πŸ˜† Could not resist hoping for clarification 😘…. and you clarified so gracefully, seriously made me lmao in delight. Just so much fun. Thanks for the joy. πŸŽ‰πŸ™πŸ˜„
